Stallions Sales Connemara Show

Facility

We are a full service breeding farm located in Central New York, 1/2 hour from the Baseball Hall of Fame.  We are at the end of a dead end road with over 500 private acres for riding and are adjacent to the 130 miles of the Brookfield Horse Trail System.

Riding or Driving:

We welcome visitors.  Bring your horse.  Stalls are available on a daily basis, bedding included, for a nominal fee.  Ride the trail system or use our facilities.  Indoor and outdoor arenas and full hunter course.  Camping/motel within 10 minutes.  Quiet, private, and with excellent care, plan a weekend on the Brookfield Trail System, with 130 miles of well maintained trails and abundant wildlife to photograph.

Our Main Purpose:

We raise Connemaras, both purebred and Thoroughbred crosses .  We stand two stallions for pony and sporthorse crosses and offer A.I. or ship chilled semen.

Connemaras make wonderful family friends.   They are versatile, adaptable, intelligent and kind.  Their temperament is suitable for any discipline.  They make a wonderful mount for a pony clubber, for dressage or the hunt field, for driving, or even working cattle.

The yearling filly pictured here is the daughter of the horse pictured above under saddle at his first dressage show.

Click on the following link for some pictures from the 2004 and 2006 American Connemara Pony Society Region 1 Horse Show, in Woodstock Vermont   We take our young stock to shows for the opportunity to expose them to the sights and sounds that may become a part of their lives.

On our Days Off:

In our spare time we take our Miniature Horses to local rehabilitation centers and senior citizen residences.  They are good travelers and don't mind riding on elevators or walking down crowded halls and are not afraid of strange noises or wheelchairs.

Miniature Horses are excellent therapy animals and bring  a smile to those who see them and touch them.  They are very outgoing and love to be petted.  We also use them for driving.

We have a new little stallion who just arrived from Kansas, thanks to Michele at RockinJ Ranch.  He is about  26 1/2 inches tall now and will make a wonderful therapy pony.  Here he is at an ARC Camp session...
